NEW BLOOD

Using new merchandise to bring a Gen Z touch to a heritage company.

This project was a submission to D&AD's New Blood competition. It was in response to the brief of Penguin Publishing House - with the objective being to design a new line of merchandise to appeal to Generation Z. My team's response was to create 2 bundles of merchandise with different purposes, comforting items and practical items. Each pack would come with a range of artwork to choose from, featuring modern vector illustrations depicting different book genres. The artwork is polished, but as the brief was focused on concept the designs are still in a conceptual stage rather than finalised.

This project was completed in a team of 2. Only half credit is taken for the final idea.
